Koh Samae San is one of my favorite islands close to Bangkok for a quick day journey. It is found just 1.5km from the Coastline of Rayong and that is achieved by a brief ferry excursion. The island is managed from the Thai Navy so National Park rules apply; entry costs, no consuming alcohol, no littering, etc…AURA is really a son et lumiere show
